Al-Anon provides meetings to
the female inmates at Maryland Correctional Institute for Women in Jessup
Maryland. These meetings have been held
weekly for the past twenty-three years.
When the Maryland/DC Assembly began supporting this service al-anon
members from The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area as well as others areas
throughout Maryland rotated bringing the meetings to the women. Over the past ten years these meetings are
being brought singly by Al-anon members from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan
Area!
It is the hope of the Al-anon
members who have been single handedly providing this very important Al-Anon
service for the past ten years to have Al-Anon members from throughout the
State of Maryland step up to this call for service. Please pitch in and reach
out to share your experience, strength, and hope with the Al-Anon members at
