Group Treasurer



Duties: Maintain the group treasury; pay billls of the group such as rent, buy literature, donations and report monthly to group what is the state of the treasury. When Group Representatives travel for the group such as Area Assembly you can reimburse expenses out of the treasury The going rate is $.485 per mile (or whatever the current IRS rate is), but your group can decide on what rate it is going to pay.  

Donations: It is customary to donate to your District, if it is active, AIS ( Al-Anon Information Service), your Area (ours is area 24) and last but not least Al-Anon World Service
