For those within a few hours of the DC / MD area, below is information and a flyer about three in person film and book events. A significant source of the material featured in these works comes from the Stepping Stones Archive, which has 100,000 original manuscripts. These documents and photographs were left in the care of The Stepping Stones Foundation in 1988 by Lois Wilson.

Film Description: The 2025 documentary, which has been selected by film festivals from New York to Rotterdam, explores Bill W. as a “seeker” of spiritual interests, including some that he explored as late as his last two years of life. New information and interviews come to light in this exploration of Bill’s spiritual life. Many who see the film say it enriched their own recovery journey and relationship with the Eleventh Step.
